Audit, accountancy and corporate services firm BDO Malta has announced plans to relocate to a new, state-of-the-art office in Msida. The new office block is located in a prime position, enjoying very wide frontage overlooking the busy Msida-Santa Venera by-pass. It is scheduled to be completed by midsummer, offering a new business address and corporate lifestyle for approximately 120 people.

Spread over a floor area of 2,200 square metres on six floors, the new BDO Malta offices will include modern facilities expected within such developments, including comfortable workspaces, spacious meeting rooms and fully-equipped boardrooms, staff facilities, chill-out areas and sun-washed terraces for team activities and open-air meeting spaces. The building is designed in line with the highest environmental building standards and will provide office spaces for third party entities seeking to strengthen their presence in Malta while remaining as close as possible to their advisors.

John Attard, founding partner at BDO Malta said: “The firm is investing in new premises to further reinforce its commitment to the BDO brand, staff, clients and to our country. We believe that Malta will continue to experience positive economic momentum, which will lead to further growth and prosperity. We recognise that in order to leverage this opportunity, our firm needs to invest in its brand, attract and retain the best professionals in the industry, and continue to deliver the highest level of service to our clients. The new office block is an important step in achieving these objectives.”

Mark Attard, chief executive officer at BDO Malta said: “We worked hard over the past three years to consolidate the firm’s core business offering and to develop new service areas. 2018 is a very special year for us as we celebrate the hard work of our founders and 40 years of driving businesses forward. While we continue to prepare the firm for further growth, this investment will help position the BDO brand on the frontline of service providers in Malta.”

Forming part of BDO Global, BDO Malta is a fully-fledged corporate services firm assisting international and Maltese clients in driving their business towards further growth. BDO is represented in 162 countries and territories, with over 73,854 people in 1,500 offices worldwide.
