Spazju Kreattiv is hosting the final talk and workshop in the Speaker Series, which forms part of the Action Planet initiative.

Tomorrow’s talk will offer participants ways and means to reduce their bills. Experts in the field of waste reduction, energy, water and sustainable living will give tips and teach tricks to save money and make homes more healthy, efficient and sustainable.

Student-led initiative Action Planet brings together schools, higher education institutes, NGOs, government ministries, organisations, artists and businesses to help raise awareness about environmental issues affecting sustainability both in Malta and worldwide. This network collaborates by sharing skills and knowledge, encouraging and supporting research and exploring ways of using creative tools to effectively communicate to a larger audience.

The end result is an exhibition at St James Cavalier running  until March 18 and which forms part of Spazju Kreattiv’s seasonal programme during the V18 celebrations. The works on display showcase student research, art installations, interactive media, sound installations, photographs and media projects.

‘How to reduce your bills – talk and workshop’ is being held tomorrow at Studio B, St James Cavalier in Valletta, between 7 and 10pm. Entrance is free but on a first-come, first-served basis. The Action Planet exhibition is on until Sunday, March 18, at Spot A at the same venue. For more information, visit www.kreattivita.org.
