The first of a series of monthly lectures being organised by Heritage Malta will tomorrow take a look at the history of the development of Maltese urban areas.

This lecture will be delivered by Heritage Malta architect Ruben Abela.

The aim of these lectures, being held on Saturday mornings, is to make cultural heritage more accessible to the public.

Lectures will be delivered by professionals in the field and will focus on various aspects of the local heritage, including archaeology, conservation, history, natural history, photography and maritime.

The first lecture is being held tomorrow at the National Museum of Archaeology in Valletta between 10am and noon. All lectures in the series will be held on Saturday mornings at specific sites related to the topic. For more information, visit www.heritagemalta.org or call 2395 4000.
