BORG. On March 8, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMEN of Għargħur, aged 57, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Anthony, her children Christian and his wife Graziella, and Savana, her granddaughters Ella-Saraha, Ann-Louisa, her mother Mary, her brothers, brothers-in-law and their families, other relatives and numerous friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, March 10, at 2pm for St Bartholomew parish church, Għargħur, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Għargħur cemetery. Donations to Puttinu Cares, Mater Dei Hospital, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

CUTAJAR. On March 8, ANTIDA, aged 60, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Raymond, her children Susanne, Jonathan and Sarah, and their fiancès, her sisters Doris and Antoinette, in-laws Doris, Joe, Twanny, Miriam and Stephen, and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, March 10, at 8am for the Holy Trinity church, Marsa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to id-Dar tal-Providenza and Puttinu Cares, would be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

GALE. On March 1, PHILIP GEORGE, known as Phil, aged 60, passed away peacefully after a courageous fight. Loved husband of Jackie, father of Lee, Emma and Dawn and sadly missed by all other family and friends. A memorial service will be held on March 20, at 11am at Holy Trinity church, Sliema. No Flowers by request donations to Hospice Movement, Balzan, and Noah's Ark Dog Sanctuary will be greatly appreciated.

MONTESIN. On March 8, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH of Ħamrun, aged 81, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his loving wife Phyllis, his son Tonio and his wife Sharon, his grandchildren Francesca Marie and Mireille, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, March 10, at 2pm for St Gaetan’s Parish Church, Ħamrun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.  No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares Foundation, Mater Dei Hospital, will be greatly appreciated. Buffet in aid of St Dominic church

The Dominican Community of Valletta will be organising a buffet in aid of St Dominic parish church restoration project at Canifor Hotel, Buġibba, next Sunday. Transport will leave from near the Mediterranean Conference Centre at 11.15am and will return back to Valletta at 3pm.
