The following are the top stories in Malta's newspapers.

Times of Malta reports that the European Commission has warned Malta about corporate tax avoidance. 

It also reports that Chief Justice Silvio Camilleri has denied accusations by Labour MEP Marlene Mizzi, the wife of Judge Antonio Mizzi, that he knew – and did not act – when two law students were cleared prior to obtaining their warrants despite having criminal records.

The Malta Independent highlights the story of two women fleeing war and conflict in a front-page feature to mark International Women's Day. It also reports that a Magħtab resident has filed an appeal against a planned controversial fuel station. 

l-orizzont highlights a European Commission report that Malta's economy is growing robustly, while those in poverty are decreasing. It also carries a pictures of the funeral of a Gozo Channel ferry captain who died, along with his partner, as a result of a suspected gas leak in a boathouse in Mġarr ix-Xini. 

In-Nazzjon says Steward Healthcare have so far sacked 17 hospital workers. It also reports that four cars were destroyed after one of them was set on fire.
