As part of its monthly talks, Din l-Art Ħelwa is once again hosting Professor Anthony Bonanno and retired judge Joseph Galea Debono to deliver a joint lecture.

This time they will share their findings in a two-part talk. The first part will discuss the remains of conflict archaeology along the Delimara promontory, in particular the forts of Delimara and Tas-Silġ and the St Paul’s and Wolsely batteries.

The second part will focus on recent developments and finds in the multi-period archaeological site at Tas-Silġ with its Temple of Juno, and on the prehistoric site at the cliff edge at Xrobb l-Għaġin.

The talk will be held tomorrow at the Judge Maurice Caruana Curran Hall at Din l-Art Ħelwa, 133, Melita Street, Valletta, at 6.30pm.  Admission is free of charge but donations to the NGO’s restoration projects would be appreciated.
