On February 21, I was awaiting the delivery of a registered mail item, which I had been tracking since January 30 but nothing arrived. I checked my mail box at around the same time that the postman usually arrives and, to my utter disgust and disappointment, I found the usual note by the postman stating he did not find me at home. I also found a wrongly delivered letter.

The same thing happened to me about six months ago. After reporting the matter, the manager responsible for customer care sent me an apology, adding that the postman was warned about this.

It seems the problem persists. This reflects very badly on Maltapost. They should make absolutely sure their employees are severely warned and punished as required, making doubly sure that such irresponsible action is eradicated immediately.

I am waiting to see whether the registered mail item I am expecting will ultimately reach its destination, as it should.
