Four Somali men were arrested late on Sunday after being found in possession of drugs, the police said.

The arrests were made near the abattoir in Marsa by members of the Rapid Intervention Union after a search of the car used by the men revealed a quantity of cannabis resin and several sachets of cannabis thought to have been prepared for trafficking.

The men are between 22 and 26 years old.
