As part of its health and safety programme, Our Lady Immaculate School, Ħamrun, is planning to train its students in the provision of basic lifesupport techniques in emergency situations. The school has therefore recently invested in a set of basic life support mannequins that will help it to provide the students with higher quality of training in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and choking techniques, which are critical components of first aid. Photo shows students demonstrating adult CPR and choking infant first aid.
