Trevor Ariza nailed the game-tying 3-pointer and later added a go-ahead layup as the Rockets rallied for a 123-120 victory over the visiting Boston Celtics on Saturday, Houston's 15th consecutive win.

Shredded by the Celtics' sublime offensive execution throughout, the Rockets arrived defensively at an opportune time. P.J. Tucker set up the Ariza 3-pointer with a steal off Terry Rozier before Ariza pilfered Kyrie Irving and dashed for a layup with 1:16 left for a 117-115 lead.

Eric Gordon scored 29 points off the Houston bench, making 7 of 11 from behind the 3-point arc. James Harden added 26 points, seven rebounds and 10 assists while Ariza scored 21 points.

Marcus Morris had 21 points for Boston, which saw Marcus Smart just miss on a desperation 3-point attempt at the buzzer.

Nuggets 126, Cavs 117

Paul Millsap hit a lead-saving 3-pointer with 2:26 remaining, sending Denver to a victory over host Cleveland.

Gary Harris poured in a game-high 32 points and Will Barton added 23 as the Nuggets, coming off a 108-102 win at Memphis the night before, won for the sixth time in the past eight games.

LeBron James recorded a 25-point, 10-rebound, 15-assist triple-double for the Cavaliers, who have lost four of their past six games.

Lakers 116, Spurs 112

Lonzo Ball canned three consecutive 3-pointers in the final three minutes, and Julius Randle scored 25 points to lead Los Angeles over host San Antonio.

Isaiah Thomas added 21 points for the Lakers off the bench while Ball and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored 18 each. Caldwell-Pope, with 13 rebounds, and Ball, with 11 assists recorded double-doubles.

Pau Gasol led the Spurs with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Rudy Gay scored 15 points and Patty Mills added 14 for the Spurs, who have lost two games in a row and five of the past six.

Heat 105, Pistons 96

Josh Richardson and Kelly Olynyk scored 17 points each as host Miami defeated Detroit.

The Heat are in eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings, which represents the final playoff position in the East. The Pistons are in ninth place, four games behind Miami.

Detroit's Blake Griffin scored a game-high 31 points and added a team-best six assists, but it wasn't enough as the Pistons lost their eighth consecutive road game.

Trail Blazers 108, Thunder 100

CJ McCollum led the way as Portland earned its sixth straight victory, downing visiting Oklahoma City.

McCollum finished with 28 points, eight rebounds and six assists as the Trail Blazers won for the 13th time in 14 games at home. Damian Lillard added 20 points despite a 5-for-18 shooting game for Portland.

Russell Westbrook totaled 30 points, 11 rebounds and six assists and Paul George added 21 points for the Thunder, who lost for the eighth straight time at Moda Center. Westbrook also struggled with his shooting, making just 12 of 31 shots for the game.

Jazz 98, Kings 91

Donovan Mitchell scored 27 points and Rudy Gobert tallied 16 points, 12 rebounds, four blocks and three steals to lift Utah over host Sacramento.

Derrick Favors added 15 points and eight rebounds for the Jazz, and Jae Crowder chipped in 14 off the bench. Ricky Rubio added 10 points, eight rebounds, six assists and four steals.

De'Aaron Fox scored 17 points and Bogdan Bogdanovic added 15 to lead the Kings.

Magic 107, Grizzlies 100

Evan Fournier hit the tiebreaking 3-pointer with 22 seconds remaining as Orlando held off visiting Memphis, which saw its losing streak hit 13 games.

Fournier and Nikola Vucevic scored 19 points apiece for the Magic, who won for the second straight night at home after snapping a seven-game losing streak Friday. Augustin and Mario Hezonja added 16 apiece while Aaron Gordon contributed 14.

Ben McLemore scored 20 points for the Grizzlies. Jarell Martin added 19 as Memphis remained winless since Jan. 29.
