SiGMA and The BiG Foundation have announced a record fund raise for charity at The BiG Sports Dinner at SiGMA Chairty Dinner and Awards evening on November 22, 2017, at SiGMA in Malta.

“We are delighted to be able to announce the event raised over €26,000 for a variety of charities including the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation, Reaching Out in Africa and St Jude Hospital in the US. The event was a huge success with demand outweighing capacity at the event,” said Richard Hogg, co-director and founder of The BiG Foundation.

The BiG Sports Dinner is the only charity sports dinner in the betting and gaming industry and is regularly attended by a host of sports stars and industry professionals.

Eman Pulis, CEO of SiGMA, added: “The BiG Sports Dinner is a unique event within the gaming industry and we are privileged to be a part of it. As a company we are very passionate about our industry and charity work, so the BiG Sports Dinner is a natural fit for us. We are delighted that the event raised a substantial amount for worthy charities.”

A host of gaming companies attended the dinner, in a bid to raise as much money as possible for the events chosen charities. This included Microgaming, AliQuantum Gaming, SpinnrGames, Pragmatic Play and Leo Vegas to name a few.

The BiG Foundation has been set up as a registered charitable organisation in the UK, the focus being on supporting those in difficult circumstances with funds donated from companies and individuals. For more  information visit www.charitycommission.gov.uk and www.thebigfoundation.org.uk.
