The Sunday Times of Malta reports that President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca is actively lobbying for Constitutional amendments to allow her to serve a second term

The newspaper also reports that Mount Carmel Hospital is to undergo a dramatic revamp as part of a five-year plan, and highlights how third country nationals are enrolling in English language schools simply as a means of gaining access to the EU. 

The Malta Independent on Sunday quotes Nationalist Party leader Adrian Delia saying he has "no fear" about allegations linking him to the Electrogas deal, with Dr Delia saying "I am not for sale". 

Malta Today leads with concerns about Malta's waste management systems, writing that a planned waste incinerator is to be located in Għallis.

It-Torċa reports that trust ratings put Joseph Muscat 25 percentage points ahead of his Nationalist Party adversary Adrian Delia. 

Il-Mument writes that there is disquiet within Labour Party halls of power over talk of allowing journalist Karl Stagno Navarra to contest the MEP elections on the party ticket, with many opposed to the idea.  

Illum splashes with "'Their' hospital, we pay", as it reports that the government is ready to fork out €807,000 for medical equipment to be used by private operators Steward Healthcare.
