BARBARA. On February 18, at Casa Antonia, Balzan, SYDNEY, at the age of 93, went to meet the Risen Lord comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved daughters Marthese and her husband Victor Cauchi, Elizabeth and her husband John Pullicino and Angele and her husband Mark Scicluna, his grandchildren Rebekah, Jonathan, Benjamin, Luke, James and Rachel, his sisters, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Casa Antonia today, Tuesday, February 20, at 1.30pm for Our Lady of the Annunciation parish church, Balzan, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. COYNE. On February 17, at his residence, DEREK, of St Paul’s Bay, aged 79, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his daughters Anita and Denise, his grandchildren Luke, Jordan, Tamsin, Gregg and Sasha, his sister Eileen and her husband John, his sister-in-law Joan, his brother-in-law Tom and his wife Brenda, his sisters-in-law Frances and her husband Greg, Mary and her husband Les and Margaret, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends in UK and Malta. CUSCHIERI. On February 17, at Mater Dei Hospital, TARCISIO (Ċisju) of Lija, aged 81, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Emma, his children Simone and her husband Tony Taliana and Charles and his wife Claire, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his brothers and sisters-in-law, other relatives and numerous friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Tuesday, February 20 at 3pm for Our Saviour parish church, Lija, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

TABONE – JOHN, at the age of 77. He leaves to mourn his loss his daughter Claire and her son Luca, his partner Marthese and her children Glen and his wife Alexia, Charlene, Caroline and her husband Sinclair, his grandchildren Rohan, Amy and Jake, his brothers and sisters, relatives and friends. XUEREB. On February 18, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOHN, of Sliema, aged 73, surrounded by his family, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Cecilia, née Dingli, his children Mark and Michela, Andrew, Daniela and her husband Piers Allen, his grandchildren Julia, Sophia, Georgia, Francesca, Max and Timmy, his brother Tony, his sister Anna and her husband Alfred Borg, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends-members of the Neochatecumenal Way. The funeral cortége leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Wednesday, February 21, at 1.30pm for Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. ZAMMIT. On Monday, February 19, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMELO of Valletta, widower of Mary, née Cutajar, aged 90, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Prof. Michael Zammit and his wife Maria, Dr Ray Zammit and his wife Mariella, grandchildren Gabriel, Benjamin, Klara, Thomas and his fiancée Joanne, his sisters Theresa and Gusta and Lina, widow of his brother Spiridione, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said tomorrow, Wednesday, February 21, at 2pm at the Collegiate parish church of St Paul’s Shipwreck, Valletta, followed by interment in the family vault at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
