The Tri-Mer Group, a leading corporate service, tax advisory and audit provider in Malta, inaugurated its new offices in Mrieħel in the presence of Silvio Schembri, Parliamentary Secretary for Financial Services, Digital Economy and Innovation.

The modern offices in Mdina Road will be home to the Tri-Mer Group of Companies set up in 2005 offering corporate, tax and audit solutions to local and International clients. Tri-Mer is a member of BKR International, now ranked sixth largest international association in the world.

On the night it was also announced that Tri-Mer would merge with Falzon and Falzon, one of the historical audit firms in Malta. From March, Godwin Falzon and Liz Gatt will become directors of Tri-Mer Audit, joining Ray, Marco, Ian Mercieca and Matthew Borg.

Ray Mercieca, Tri-Mer’s founder, said the merger was an opportunity to go from strength to strength. The two firms coming together will create synergies that will enable Tri-Mer to service clients better, widen the services offered and provide more quality and value. The staff complement will increase to over 45.

Mr Schembri congratulated Tri-Mer on what it had achieved and what it had planned for the future and was sure the company would be active, as the financial services sector as set to write another chapter with the help of digitalisation. He described the inauguration of the new offices and the company’s future plans as a reflection of the sense of trust in the growing financial sector.

Jacqueline Wolfovski, BKR International Worldwide Chair, congratulated Tri-Mer. She said she was proud and happy that Tri-Mer Services chose BKR International and that this was part of the success in the firm’s growth.
