FREESTYLE (0200) James Woods will bid to emulate Great Britain team-mate Izzy Atkin and grab his first Olympic medal in the men's ski slopestyle competition. Woods finished fifth in Sochi despite carrying an injury, and is expected to push for a place on the podium.

ALPINE (0215) Austrian Marcel Hirscher goes for his second gold medal of the Pyeongchang Games in the men's giant-slalom. Having already triumphed in the Combined event, Hirscher is favourite to pip Frenchman Alexis Pinturault once again.

ICE HOCKEY (0410) The unified Korean women's team is back in action in a classification game against Switzerland. Meanwhile the South Korean men's team face a major test as they take on defending champions Canada at the Gangneung Hockey Centre in the evening.

CURLING (0605) The Great Britain women's team skipped by Eve Muirhead face a tough task to maintain their solid start to the competition as they face an impressive Sweden in the morning session. The men need a win to maintain their realistic hopes of contention when they face Italy in the evening.

BOBSLEIGH (1200) While Great Britain's best chance lies in the upcoming four-man competition, the two-man will give pilot Brad Hall valuable track time. He is not likely to figure in the medal shake-up, with the Canadian sleds of Chris Spring and Justin Kripps setting the pace in practice.
