Traffic in Triq Aldo Moro in Marsa will temporarily flow through one lane on Sunday morning as the contractor starts preparing the site for the second phase of the Marsa project.

The contractor will be using three lanes of one side of Triq Aldo Moro tomorrow morning between 6am and 8.30am, Transport Malta said.

Drivers are requested to drive carefully, follow the temporary signs and the instructions of officials on site.

During the second phase of the project, which will start in the coming weeks, the contractor will widen part of Triq Aldo Moro and improve Triq il-Gvern Lokali.

Throughout this phase, the contractor will also build a number of service culverts.

This is another important phase of the Marsa junction project, which will drastically improve the efficiency of the busiest junction in Malta, the authority said.
