BONELLO. On February 12, at his home, KARL, after a very long illness very bravely borne, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Krista and her husband Nick, Kristoff, Karla and Kyle, his grandchildren Mia and Zoe, his sisters Kathleen and Alexander, Paula and Julian, his nieces, as well as other relatives and friends. Funeral Mass will be said on Saturday, February 17 at 2pm at Għargħur parish church. CASSAR. On February 12, at Mater Dei Hospital, WILFRED of Paola, aged 82, passed away peacefully to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Carrie née Barbara, his children Patricia and her husband Joe Cutajar and Sandra and her husband Silvio Cortis, his granddaughters, Maria and fiancé Timothy, Sarah and fiancé Christian, and Raymond, his sisters Lina, Mabel, widow of Frans, Anna and her husband Oliver, his brother Edwin and his wife Tessie, his brothers and sisters-in-law, the late Hector husband of Tessie, Lilian, Jamie and her husband Joe, the late Joe husband of Georgia, Paul and his wife Fabiana, Twanny and his wife Mary and Tessie and her husband Edward, the extended family, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortége leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Wednesday, February 14 at 1.30pm for St Anthony’s church, Għajn Dwieli, Paola, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. CASTILLO. On February 12, at Casa Arkati, Mosta, ELINA of Sliema, widow of Wilfred, aged 94, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Adrian, and Christine and her husband Richard Pace Bonello, her beloved grandchildren Roger, Veronica, their mother Anna, née Mercieca, Gordon and his partner Tania, David and his wife Erika, Greta and her husband Matthew, her great‐grandchildren, Arianne, Samuel, and Luka, his mother Ana, Ella, Nina, Michael, Anna, Alec and Faye, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Casa Arkati tomorrow, Thursday, February 15 at 9am for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be offered for the repose of her soul at 9.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
