Customers visiting any of the APS Bank branches today are in for a sweet surprise as they will be personally handed heart-shaped Lenten biscuits (locally known as kwareżimal) by staff members as a token of appreciation for their loyalty.

This is not the first time APS Bank has shown its gratitude to its customers, as in the days leading up to last Christmas, delighted customers were treated to bite-sized mince pies.

Commenting on the gesture, APS Bank’s head of banking, Anthony Buttigieg, said: “This is another way of showing our customers they matter to us, and it enhances the value of service we give them by thanking them for their custom”.
