Simon Bartolo returns to the Manoel Theatre with Staġun Teatru Malti’s production of his new controversial play dealing with sexual abuse, Missierna Li X’aktarx Inti Fis-Smewwiet (Our Father, Who Very Well Might Be In Heaven).

This drama is ripped from Maltese headlines and transformed into a fictional theatrical world where Maltese values, traditions and mores are thrown under a spotlight, challenging the audience to, perhaps, rethink and re-evaluate perceptions about love, sex and marriage.

The play will run at the Manoel Theatre, Valletta, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and Sunday at 8pm, with an additional matinee performance on Sunday at 3pm. Recommended age is strictly 16+. Booking is open at the theatre (tel: 2124 6389) or online from www.teatrumanoel.com.mt.
