Nadur’s spontaneous carnival has beaten the weather with revellers from the Maltese islands flooding to the village in their satirical costumes.

The carnival started on Friday and will continue until Tuesday.

The Nadur carnival is known for its spontaneity. Over the years, it has continued to evolve from the cultural, grotesque celebration to more of a street party.
