The University of Malta is offering a Master of Social Work, a new two-year full-time professional degree providing entry to the social work profession for graduates from other fields.
Social work is a practice-based profession and an academic discipline that aims to promote the wellbeing of individuals, families, groups and communities. Social workers practise in areas such as children and families, the elderly, disability, addictions, migration, mental health, education, rehabilitation, health, diversity and anti-oppression, the community, poverty, and inclusion, among others.
