The University of Malta is offering a Master of Social Work, a new two-year full-time professional degree providing entry to the social work profession for graduates from other fields.

Social work is a practice-based profession and an academic discipline that aims to promote the wellbeing of individuals, families, groups and communities. Social workers prac­tise in areas such as children and families, the elderly, disability, addictions, migration, mental health, education, rehabilitation, health, diversity and anti-oppression, the community, poverty, and inclusion, among others.
