As part of its corporate social responsibility commitment, PKF Malta hosted an art exhibition and a reception in aid of ALS. The event was held at the Casino Maltese in Valletta.

During the exhibition, guests were invited to purchase the artworks on exhibit, which were created by some of Malta’s most distinguished artists, including Ed Schembri, Clemens Hasengschwandtner, Mark Mallia, Samuel Sultana and Arpadosso & Dag Art, in an effort to raise funds for ALS.

A total of €3,500 were collected from the sale of the paintings.

While thanking PKF Malta for hosting this event, ALS chairman Bjorn Formosa said: “In the past couple of years we have been working to provide cure, care and services to thousands of patients. We have also invested in research projects and launched a new scholarship which will be available in the coming months.

“In November we opened the ALS residential home in Qormi. The home is already full, so plans are in hand to open a new place for other neurological conditions. The funds from tonight’s event will go towards addressing more social problems and medical situations on the island.”
