Motorists faced a trying start to the last working day of the week on Friday, as gridlock choked up Regional Road and many nearby areas.
With roads slippery following rains, cars sat in bumper-to-bumper traffic as their morning commute turned from chore to frustration.
"We've been stuck in Msida for more than half an hour," one frustrated passenger told Times of Malta. "Things always seem to grind to a halt at the slightest sign of rain."
A three-car collision on Regional Road earlier in the morning did not help matters, either. Transport officials were quick to move the cars and remove any debris following the crash, in which nobody was thankfully hurt.
