The Times of Malta leads with reports that police have a recording of a civil servant asking for money in exchange for securing social housing, in what insiders say is an "open and shut" case of bribery. 

The Malta Independent leads with a similar story, saying the recording of the bribe request was handed to the police commissioner by deputy prime minister Chris Fearne. 

Malta Today writes that Pilatus Bank was preparing to sue Daphne Caruana Galizia for millions of dollars in a US court, but had the case dismissed following the journalist's murder. 

L-Orizzont reports that Malta has found itself completely isolated in Europe when it comes to abortion, with MEPs from all major groupings calling for access to abortion across the 28-member bloc. 

In-Nazzjon reports on ongoing tensions at Mcast, where lecturers are calling for a better deal. The newspaper says lecturers at the technical college are worse off than colleagues at Junior College.
