A 78-year-old Maltese man was killed yesterday in a traffic collision in Thailand, local news reported. 

The elderly man was riding a Honda Wave motorbike in the northern town of Phitsanulok when he was hit by a motorist in an Isuzu SUV. 

He was given CPR by passers-by and rushed to hospital by paramedics, but died a few hours later in hospital, thairath.co.th reported.
