• The feast of the Conversion of St Paul will be celebrated at Marsalforn church today. The procession with the statue of St Paul, led by Xagħra archpriest Mgr Carmelo Refalo, will leave the church at 4pm. The Victory Band of Xagħra and the Santa Marija Band of Żebbuġ will take part. Today, Masses will be celebrated at 8am, 10am and 11am. Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will celebrate High Mass at 6pm. The choir and orchestra will be under the direction of Mro Colin Attard.

• The feast of St Blaise will be celebrated in Nadur today. Bishop Mario Grech will celebrate Mass near the boċċi pitch, San Blas, at 10am, followed by the blessing of animals and agriculture produce. Free transport will be available from near the Mnarja Band Club at 9.45am.

• Paddington 2 (PG) will be screened at Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30pm.

• The Oasi Group of volunteers will be organising a bazaar at St Francis Square, Victoria, (opposite the church). It will be open from tomorrow until March 2, Monday to Saturday from 8.30am to 12pm and from 4.30 to 7pm. Donations of items are appreciated. Anyone interested in joining the Oasi volunteers can call on 2156 3333.

• A special prayer meeting for children will be held at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, tomorrow at 5pm. The meeting, led by Fr Michael Said, is in preparation for the feast of St John Bosco next Sunday. All children present will be given a token. A prayer meeting for adolescents and youths will be held at the Oratory chapel on Friday at 8pm. The meeting will be led by Fr Jeremy Vella with the participation of a youth band. A festive buffet dinner will be held on Saturday in the evening. For reservations call 9948 7751.

• A blood donation session will be held at Gozo General Hospital Outpatients Department on Tuesday from 1pm to 5pm.

• Godwin Darmanin will be leading a discussion on the effect of machines and machinisation in today’s IT world at the Circolo Gozitano in Victoria on Friday at 7.30pm. The event is being organised by the Philosophy Sharing Gozo group.

• The Gozitan Graduates Movement will be holding a Mass for graduates and members of all professions in Gozo (including couples) at St Augustine’s church, Victoria, on Friday at 8pm.
