Gozo Minister Justyne Caruana and the Prime Minister’s wife Michelle Muscat presented certificates to 200 students from the Gozo College who participated in a Christmas card competition where children were asked to submit a drawing to be considered as the Prime Minister’s official Christmas cards.

The theme of the competition held in November was ‘Freedom and Peace at Christmas’. A set of six designs were selected from among the drawings. This was the fourth year that the Prime Minister’s official Christmas cards have been selected through a competition for schoolchildren.

Mrs Muscat said that this year they decided to give this opportunity to Gozitan primary students.

In previous years the cards had been designed by children with autism and people who have gone through drug rehabilitation programmes, she said.
