Bank of Valletta is holding a series of four courses during which officials of the bank are disseminating useful knowledge and best practice to the public on subjects such as succession planning, power of attorneys, card fraud and chargebacks, and the Depositor Compensation Scheme.

Each course consists of six two-hours sessions. Two of the courses are being delivered in English, and the other two in Maltese. The first course began earlier this month at The Victoria Hotel, Sliema, while the other three will be held between February and April at different venues, including one in Gozo.

John Paul Abela, the bank’s investor relations officer, said that the courses are becoming increasingly popular and that participants are showing a keen interest and actively engaging in the sessions.

Participation is free of charge but seating capacity is limited and subject to booking.
