A new minibus will replace the current vehicle on Route 133 in Valletta, the circular route around the capital city which carried 43,000 passengers in 2016 and 60,000 in 2017.

Malta Public Transport is currently operating with a fleet of over 400 vehicles, compared to 360 buses in December 2015, with overall growth of 12% in passenger numbers over the past 12 months.

Malta Public Transport general manager Konrad Pulé said the new bus - which represents an investment of €120,000 - is cleaner for the environment, more comfortable, and more accessible.
