AGIUS. On Tuesday, January 16, at Mater Dei Hospital, YVONNE, of Floriana, widow of Francis, aged 89, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children, Joe and his wife Tarcisia, Tania and her husband Charles, Doreen and her husband Marcel, Adrian and his wife Marisa, Jesmond and his wife Sandra, Peter and his wife Lorraine, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sister Edith widow of John, Mary Anne widow of Joe, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Wednesday, January 17 at 2pm for St Publius church, Floriana, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. ANASTASI. On January 16, at Mater Dei Hospital, MELITA of Guardamangia, aged 99, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children, Sylvia, widow of Paul Cauchi, Louise and her husband George Bonello, Lina and her husband Anthony Muscat, Sunny, widower of her daughter Sheila, Vivian and her husband Alex Cachia, Alex and his wife Nadia, Dominic and his wife Mary, Raymond and Sherry, her grandchildren, their respective spouses, her great-grandchildren, all other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Wednesday, January 17 at 2pm for Our Lady of Fatima Sanctuary, Guardamangia, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

BILOCCA. On January 17, at St Vincent de Paul residence, ODELIA, aged 89, passed away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sister Olanda, her sister-in-law Lucia and other in-laws, cousins, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves St Vincent de Paul residence on Saturday, January 20 at 9.30am for the Holy Cross Capuchin church, Floriana, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be much appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

CEFAI. On January 16, CARMEN of Sliema, aged 88, passed away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her last remaining and beloved brother Paul and his wife Mabel, her in laws Isabelle, Helen and Marlene, as well as her numerous nephews and nieces and their respective children, as well as her many relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Thursday, January 18, at 1.30pm for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere  will be said at 2pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar Tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

CUMBO. On January 14, at Mater Dei Hospital, Fr TEDDY CUMBO of Luqa, aged 64, passed away suddenly, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. After having been assistant parish priest in the parish of St Andrew the Apostle, Luqa and Lourdes parish church, Paola, he served in Australia for 20 years, before returning to Luqa parish church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brother and sisters; Clementina and her husband Louis Barbara, Josephine and her husband Ramon Xuereb, Rita, widow of his brother Emanuel, Charles and his wife Rita, residing in Australia, Teresa and her husband Joseph Pace, nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces, relatives, parishioners and friends, as well as the community, staff and residents at Dar tal-Kleru and his brothers and sisters of Mixja Neokatekumenali. Fr Teddy will lie in state at the Victory chapel, Luqa, today, Wednesday, January 17 from 10am and will be accompanied to Luqa parish church at 2.45pm where HE Mgr. Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna will celebrate Mass praesente cadavere together with Canon Michael Zammit and other celebrants. Mass will be followed by interment in the family grave at Luqa cemetery. Donations to Dar tal-Kleru will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

GOUDER. On January 16, at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, STELLA of Sliema, aged 78, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Joseph, her son Simon and his wife Doreen, her daughter Joanna and her husband Sandro, her grandchildren Darryl, Valentina and Andrea, her brothers and sisters, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Friday, January 19 at 1.30pm for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

BORG – MARY. Treasured memories of a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on the 28th anniversary of her demise. Fondly remembered by her son George, Antoinette and family.

DESIRA – EDWIGE, January 9 being the first anniversary of her demise. Never forgotten and sorely missed by her brother Lino, sisters Maria, Blanche and Joan together with their respective husbands, and by Inez, widow of her brother Antonio Giuseppe.
