Donald Trump entered the White House on January 20 last year with a mandate for radical change in foreign policy, trade and spending. It’s a good time to remind readers of some of Trump’s controversial statements and comments:
“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best, they’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border. And I will have Mexico pay for that wall.”
“When was the last time anybody saw us beating, let’s say, China in a trade deal? They are killing us. If you can’t make a good deal with a politician, then there’s something seriously wrong with you. I am calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what the hell is going on.”
Many Americans and most of the rest of the world hope and pray that Trump will stop his politics of destruction and return to his roots – as a builder.
