Weekly consumer advice

Weekly consumer advice

• We should gather information on the benefits extended warranties offer before purchasing them.

• Carefully read the terms and conditions of the extended warranty to see what it covers and the remedies it provides.

• It is our responsibility to compare products and guarantees before making a buying decision.

• Commercial guarantees must provide us with additional rights and not restrict our legal ones.

• Buying an extended warranty is optional and hence sellers should not pressure us to make such purchases.
