ATTARD. On January 3, DIANA JEANNE née O'Connor (formerly of Adelaide, Australia), aged 90, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church in Welwyn Garden City, England. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Raphael, her children Susan and her husband Sebastiano, Antonia and her husband Neville, Anne and Virginia, and her grandchildren Thomas, Stefano, Francesca, Cristina and Julia. Requiem Mass will be said on Wednesday, January 10 at St. Bonaventure's Church, Welwyn Garden City at 12.30pm followed by interment at the Lawn Cemetery, Hatfield. AQUILINA. Our beloved MELITA, widow of Angelo, passed away peacefully on January 6 at the age of 90. Lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her five daughters, Miriam and Walter Höhmann, Pauline and Victor Pisani, Laura Mifsud Bonnici, Edel and Martin Dimech, and Doreen and Arthur Pace, her grandchildren Marilena and Anatoli, Clint and Daniela, Victoria, Ken, Martina, Luis and Gabriel, her great grandson Isaac, her nephew Victor and nieces Rosemary and Jane and their families, her carer Merlyn, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Tuesday, January 9, at 2.30pm. Mass will be celebrated at 3pm at the Church of the Resurrection, Tarxien (Tal-Erwieħ). BONNICI. On January 5, MARISA née Xuereb, aged 56, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Renzo, her children Erika and husband Jeremy, John, Julia and boyfriend Ian, her grandchildren Sophie and Hollie, her mother Teresa, her brothers Giovanni, Andrew, Charles and their wives Sylvana, Sandra and Alison, her in-laws Carmel and Julie Bonnici, Yvonne and John Schembri, nieces and nephews David and Viki, Mireille and Viktor, Angela and Antoine, Daniel, Mireille and Anthony, Shirley and Alain, Steve, Amy, other relatives and friends. DEGAETANO – GERALD, passed away suddenly, aged 53. He leaves to mourn his great loss his mother Cecilia and his father Vincent, his brothers James and his wife Mariella, Michael and his wife Sarah, his sister Corinne, wife of David Griscti, his nephews and nieces, other relatives and his many friends. HUNT. On January 8, at Zammit Clapp, St Julians, AMELIA of Sliema, aged 98. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Ron and his partner Graziella Debono, Valerie and her husband Godwin Portelli, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.  The funeral leaves Zammit Clapp on Wednesday, January 10 at 1.45pm for Balluta parish church, St Julians, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. MARICH. On January 7, YVONNE née Wirth, aged 98, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughters Joanna and her husband Alex Zammit, Barbara and her husband James Dunbar Cousin, Clarissa and her husband Peter Galea; her grandchildren David and Renee, George and Lara, Michael and Tricia, Lisa and Andrew, Ruth and Robert, Lulu and Marco, Simon and Tina, and Julian; her great grandchildren Sophie, Matt, Elijah, Jacob, Jamie, Seb, Tim, Tom, Charlotte, Ava, Mia, Nicky, Nick, Kay, Andy, Matthew and Michael; her sisters Molly Wirth, Babs Cutugno and Risette Wirth; her brothers Laurie and his wife Anna, Edgar and his wife Nanette; her in-laws, her cousins, her many nieces and nephews and her very devoted carers Jogi and Angie. He leaves to mourn his loss his daughter Anna, his two grandchildren Elenia and Denzil, his sisters Doris and Sr Giuliana, SSI, his brother Anton, his sister-in-law Pauline, her children and their families, other relatives and friends. VELLA. On January 6, JOSEPH (Ta’ Fatti), aged 76, of Victoria, passed away peacefully at his residence in Gozo. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Antonia, his children Christian and Gorg, his mother-in-law Gużeppa Portelli, his brothers and sisters Ignes, Rose, Angelo, Frans and Carmen widow of his brother Valent, his in-laws, their families, cousins, nephews and friends. WORLEY. On January 5, at Casa Antonia, Balzan, MARY, née Zammit Farrugia, widow of James, at the venerable age of 102, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Cynthia and her husband Joe Camilleri, Norman and his wife Carmen, and Cyril and his wife Mary Rose, her grandchildren Stephen and his wife Katie, David and his wife Jackie, Joanne and her husband Cajetan, and Linda and her husband John, also her great-grandchildren Jessica, Andrew, Ryan, Ethan-James and Julia, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Casa Antonia tomorrow, Tuesday, January 9, at 9am for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. ZARB. On January 6, Ambassador ALFRED A. ZARB, M.Q.R., of Pembroke, formerly of Ħamrun, aged 80, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Lovingly remembered by his wife Therese née Sammut, children Caroline and her husband Adrian Rizzo, Steve and his wife Louise, and Claudine and her husband Philip Pace, his beloved grandchildren Justin, Shaun, Aidan, Jasmine, Julian, Alec and Michael, his in-laws, nephews, nieces and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Monday, January 8, for the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy, San Pawl tat-Tarġa, Naxxar, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. GALEA – GIOVANNA.  Cherished memories of a very dear mother, today the 22nd anniversary of her demise. So sadly missed by her children Perry, Sr Dolores, David and Joe, and by Gaetano widower of Rose Marie, and their families.  Always in our thoughts and prayers. A prayer is solicited.
