Andrei Vella and Steve Decesare will join the current six partners at Camilleri Preziosi law firm, with effect from January 1, 2018.

Dr Vella will be admitted as a partner in the firm’s corporate and finance practice group with responsibilities for banking and finance, areas in which he has been specialising over the years at the firm.

He read law at the University of Malta from where he graduated as a Doctor of Laws in 2008 and subsequently at University College London where he graduated with an LL.M. in international banking and finance in 2009. Dr Vella joined the firm in 2008 and became a senior associate in 2014.

Dr Decesare will be admitted as a partner in the firm’s regulatory, EU and litigation practice group within the firm and specialises in public procurement, maritime and aviation law. He joined the firm in 2007 as a trainee and was appointed as a senior associate in 2014. He read law at the University of Malta graduating with an LL.D. in 2008 and subsequently obtained an LL.M. in Commercial Law in 2009 from the University of Edinburgh where he studied banking and finance, debt and insolvency law, company law and EC competition law.
