Gozo Channel will be suspending its services between noon and 3pm on Christmas and New Year’s day.

The company said this morning the suspension would allow employees on duty to lunch with their families and friends.

On both days, the noon, 12.45pm, 1.30pm and 2.15pm trips from Mġarr to Ċirkewwa and the 12.45pm, 1.30pm, 2.15pm and 3pm trips from Ċirkewwa will not be operated.

The last trip from Mġarr will be at 11.15am, that from Ċirkewwa at noon.
Service will resume at 3pm from Mġarr to Ċirkewwa, and at 3.45pm from Ċirkewwa to Mġarr.

The company thanked its employees who it said worked long shifts and sometimes in difficult weather conditions, providing a reliable service to customers.
