A 23-year-old motorcyclist from Fgura was grievously injured in a traffic accident in Gudja on Sunday.

The police said the accident happened at Dawret il-Gudja at 7.15pm.

The biker was riding Honda that was involved in a collision with an Isuzu Elf van that was being driven by a 48-year-old man from Qormi.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital by ambulance.
