The Nativity village, Bethlehem f’Għajnsielem, opened its doors to the public last Sunday. The entire natural attraction is set up in a rehabilitated quiet area, known as Ta’ Passi fields. On entrance, all visitors are given a map to give them an overview of the experience. Attractions include the carpenter and blacksmith’s dwellings, a bakery, a market selling natural fruits, fresh fish and vegetables, a tavern, a local crafts area and a barn. Each dwelling is animated by whole families. A picnic area offers a unique surrounding for a family outing on Sundays. The village is animated on weekends and public holidays.
