Malta’s biggest challenge for 2018 is…to keep it clean. With many people in small place this is always a challenge, but I think there should be more awareness and harsher fines for littering.
My life motto is…live and let live.
The one concert I really, really remember is…there are a couple actually that I really remember and was blown away by the experience. I saw Prince live a couple of times when I was young in the Netherlands and more recently Barbra Streisand in New York. Very different shows but both extremely talented and gifted performers.
Facebook is…a great way to stay in touch with friends and clients but also a strange place where people think they can say anything and offend each other.
Best memory from the Malta of my youth is…I moved here when I was 21 and I have amazing memories of my first summer in Malta. I loved the island and made many friends and we had some fabulous parties. Our ideal Friday night is…a nice dinner and afterwards watching something on Netflix.
If we didn’t do well in fashion, we’d pursue a career in…for me that would probably be a career as a Visual Merchandiser (still in fashion) or artist as I love to paint but don’t really have the time anymore. Charles would probably pursue a career as a chef.
I never expected fashion/design to be as…I never really had any expectations about fashion design as we grew into it very organically. It is very demanding as you have to re-invent yourself twice a year, so once you finish one collection you immediately have to start thinking about the next one. That said it is also very exciting and gratifying once you see those first ideas on the catwalk or worn by clients.
My favourite quote right now (good or bad) is…"Don’t ask the world to change, you change first".
My favourite word is…love. If we all put love in everything we do, our work, our relationships, our reactions to others and our environment the world would be a much better place.

Our next vacation spot will be…we don’t have any vacations planned and our next trip will be work-related, but we love to spend our free time in Gozo.

If I could take credit for any great piece of art/song/film/book/design it would be…I wouldn’t want to take credit for something I didn’t do, but if I had to it would be anything by Andy Warhol or Jean Michel Basquiat.
