A Christmas market that can stake a claim to be Malta's biggest drew large crowds over the past days, as locals and visitors alike soaked up the festive spirit in Rabat's narrow streets.

Now in its second year, Natalis Notabilis is organised and run by volunteers keen to add a bit of Christmas joy to the historic town while raising funds for historical restoration and conservation projects.

From gifts to food, theatre and exhibitions, the market holds something in store for all ages and interests.
