The St Joseph the Worker Exhibitions Society is today inaugurating its 15th cribs exhibition.

More than 70 cribs of various sizes and materials will be on display, together with other items related to the Christmas period, such as statues of Baby Jesus, pictures, semolina paintings and decorations.

The exhibition will also feature a number of antique items for the first time this year.

Poinsettias, plants, Christmas decorations and traditional Christmas sweets will be on sale and a bar/cafeteria is being set up.

The exhibition opens today at St Joseph the Worker parish centre in Bwieraq Street,  Birkirkara, and runs until December 28. It is open every day from 9am to noon and from 4 until 8pm. Entrance is free of charge. For more information about the St Joseph the Worker Exhibitions Society and about this year’s cribs exhibition, log on to wirjasgh.webs.com or the society’s Facebook page.
