Daphne Caruana Galizia was not investigating any of the ten suspects who were arrested last Monday as part of investigations into her murder, her sister Corrine Vella said in a statement this evening in reaction to media claims.

Three of the arrested men were arraigned on Tuesday and accused of the murder. However it was not clear whether they had been commissioned by somebody else.

An Italian newspaper which listed all 10 suspects said on Wednesday that Daphne Caruana Galizia wrote frequently about one of them, Adrian Agius.

"A search for Adrian Agius’s name on www.daphnecaruanagalizia.com will turn up three short posts, none of which are investigative and all of which were published more than three years ago on the same day (12 October 2014)," Ms Vella said.

There were no posts about the others, including Vincent Muscat, George Degiorgio, or Alfred Degiorgio who were arraigned on Tuesday night.

Ms Vella said the website has remained the way it was when her sister died and this is the way it will remain indefinitely.

"There are no plans to remove the site or any part of its contents. Nothing has been removed from the site and nothing has been added to it," she said.
