The article ‘Wear with care’ (November 30) about recycling clothes provides food for thought.

When are we going to realise the harm we’re doing to our environment with excessive use of material for clothes? Maybe when it’s too late!

Where can we dispose of clothes which are not suitable for reuse but can be recycled? In some villages there are skips for reusable clothes and these are being made use of. Could skips also be provided for recycling clothes? This would help maybe in a small way to solve the problem. The sooner this is done the better.
