A motorcyclist was badly injured this morning after he lost control of his motorbike and crashed in Marsa. 

The 29-year-old Safi resident was driving along Triq Giuseppe Garibaldi when he skidded and fell from his Suzuki bike. The accident was reported to police at 9.45am. 

The man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, where he is receiving treatment. Police say they are investigating the incident.
