• The Gozo Bird Breeders Society will hold a show at Xewkija primary school, today from 8.30am to 6pm.
• The Nadur 8K will be held today at 9am, followed by the 5K walk and for the first time a 2K kids’ race.
• An exhibition of scale models of aircraft, cars, ships, figurines, dioramas, paper models and science fiction figures will be held by the Gozo Scale Modellers Club at The Duke shopping mall, Victoria, today from 9am to 6pm.
• The Christmas special edition of Swejjaq, which will include the traditional Christmas fair, artisan ornaments and oriented food, together with games for children and themed shows is taking place at St Lawrence Main Square, today from 11am.
• War For The Planet Of The Apes (12A) will be screened at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30pm.

• As part of the Malta International Organ Festival, a Solo Organ Concert by Diego Cannizzaro from Sicily will taking place at the Sacred Heart of Jesus parish church, Fontana, today at 7.30pm.
• A blood donation session will be held at the Gozo General Hospital on Tuesday from 1pm to 5pm.
• The feast of the Immaculate Conception will be celebrated at the Franciscan Conventual church, Victoria, on Friday. Mgr Joseph Cauchi will lead a concelebrated Mass at 9.30am with the participation of Laudate Pueri choir, under the direction of Mro Can Ġorġ Frendo. Major Seminary rector, Fr Richard Farrugia, will deliver the panegyric. Fr Farrugia will celebrate Mass at 4pm. The procession starts at 5.45pm, accompanied by La Stella Band of Victoria. The feast of the Immaculate Conception will also be celebrated in Qala. Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will lead a concelebrated Mass at 9.30am at Immaculate Conception Sanctuary. The traditional motorcycles pilgrimage will start from Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary at 1.30pm. The aux flambeau procession, led by Mgr Anton Mizzi, will start at 5pm, accompanied by Ite ad Joseph Band of Qala.

• The Oasi Volunteers, in collaboration with The Duke shopping mall, will be holding a Christmas wrapping corner at The Duke shopping mall in Victoria. Gifts will be wrapped by Oasi volunteers against a donation on Saturday and next Sunday and on December 13, 16, 17 and 23, from 9am to 7pm.
• A pre-Christmas mini concert by The Echo Ensemble is being held at Il-Ħaġar Museum in Victoria, on Saturday, from 11.30am to 12.30pm. Entrance is free.
• The hamlet of Santa Luċija will be hosting a symbolic parade in honour of its patron saint on Saturday at 6.30pm. Participants will be given delicious buns, traditionally associated with this hamlet.
• The Friends of the Sick and Elderly in Gozo are organising a Christmas car boot sale at the Victoria’s football ground (next to the car park) next Sunday between 7.30am and 1pm.
