AZZOPARDI. On December 1, HILDA, née Vella, widow of Joseph, aged 91, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Mario, Ray and his wife Phena, Tony German, widower of her daughter Anna, her grandchildren Louise and Maurizio Bellina, Marisa and Cihan Kalkan German, Kurt and Bettina, Lisa and Mirko Placi, her great-grandchildren Julia, Boran, Dario and Aleyna, her brother Albert Vella and his wife Kitty, her sister Terry and her husband John Griffiths, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, December 2 at 9am for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. BAJADA. On November 29, EVE, aged 60, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Emanuel, her sons Victor, Andrew and Craig, her father Arthur, other relatives and friends. On November 30, MICHAEL (known as Kelinu), aged 96, widower of Dolores, of Floriana, residing in Valletta, passed away peacefully at Mater Dei Hospital, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Maryrose, and her husband Alfred Gatt, Alfred, and his wife Yvette, and George, and his wife Louiseanne, his grandchildren and great grandchildren, his sisters Mary and Violet and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital, tomorrow, Saturday, December 2, at 8.30am for St Publius parish church, Floriana, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. CUSCHIERI. On November 30, LAWRENCE (Lorry), former Sliema Wanderers FC player, passed away peacefully. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved children John and his wife Antoinette, Felix and his wife Doris, Anna and her husband Godfrey, Mariella and her husband Paul and Raymond and his wife Elaine, his 11 grandchildren and great-grandson, his brother Tarcisio and his wife Emma, many relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Friday, December 1, at 2.30pm for Lija parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment at Lija cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
SAVONA. On November 27, VINCENT, suddenly passed away and left us. To mourn his loss, he leaves his much loved wife Valerie, his son Paul and wife Jeanette, his daughters Desiree and Gillian, and her husband Martin, and his grandchildren Vincent, Alexandra, Emma, Michael and Raphael, his brother Joe, his sisters Anne, Marlene and Claire, his nieces and nephew. A unique and beautiful soul who will be deeply missed by his family and friends alike. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 5, at 9.30am, at Stella Maris parish church, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request, but donations to the Salesian Fathers, of Sliema, will be appreciated. Vincent will be welcomed into heaven by his loving parents, Joseph and Elizabeth, who are smiling proudly, waiting for him with open arms.
