The driver seen driving a truck dangerously on three videos uploaded on Times of Malta is expected to be arraigned in court on Friday, after he was arrested in Qormi early Thursday afternoon.

The driver, Marius Camilleri of Qormi, is well known to the police and has two suspended prison sentences.

The truck was stopped by wardens who sought the assistance of the police in Manuel Dimech Street.

The truck is being held by Transport Malta while the driver is to undergo police questioning.

Lesa chief Sandro Muscat told the Times of Malta wardens had been ordered last Monday to immediately stop the truck as soon as they saw it and call for police assistance.

The truck was stopped by wardens 545, 774 and 488 and wardens inspector Noel Swain.

In the first two videos, the truck can be seen breaking traffic rules, putting motorists' lives in danger - once by driving along the opposite traffic lane while overtaking on a blind corner, another by steaming through a Qormi roundabout despite oncoming traffic.

Watch: Is this Malta's most dangerous driver?

In the third video,  shot in April in San Ġwann, the driver is seen risking a motorist's life by crossing into the inner lane without warning.
