BORG – CARMEN, of Valletta, residing in Birkirkara, aged 59, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Bjorn, Matthew, Daniel and Carmelina, their respective spouses, her grandchildren, her brothers and sisters, her in-laws among whom Fr Martin Borg OCD and Br David Borg OCD, all other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Friday, December 1, at 2pm for St Theresa Sanctuary, Birkirkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. CUSCHIERI. On November 30, LAWRENCE (Lorry), former Sliema Wanderers FC player, passed away peacefully. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved children John and his wife Antoinette, Felix and his wife Doris, Anna and her husband Godfrey, Mariella and her husband Paul and Raymond and his wife Elaine, his 11 grandchildren and great-grandson, his brother Tarcisio and his wife Emma, many relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Friday, December 1 at 2.30pm for Lija parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment at Lija cemetery. WARREN. On November 26, ELIZABETH (Betty), widow of Jack, aged 95, passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved children Peter and his wife Cecilia, Vanessa and her daughter-in-law Lee; her adoring grandchildren Glen and his wife Kelly, Lee and his wife Bettina, Adam and his wife Charisse, Mark, Paul and his wife Alison, John, Sarah and her husband Richard, and her loving 10 great-grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends. An amazing woman who will be deeply missed. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Friday, at 1.30pm for St Julian’s parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request, but donations to the Salesian Fathers of Sliema, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
