Through our ongoing optimisation, we are always looking for new and better ways to address customer needs, says Greg Behr, senior business development manager at LeaseWeb.

You are celebrating your 20th anniversary. What makes you proud of your history?

Even after 20 years, it’s the day-to-day that really matters. A big part of our history is our ongoing effort to do what’s right for our customers and create a company committed to empowering them to achieve their goals.

In many ways we are in a process of ongoing optimisation, always looking for new and better ways to address customer needs, and offer not just the best products and service but the right ones.

And what excites you about the future?

The future of the industry is very much in the process of being written and we are excited to be part of that story.

This is not a static industry – rather, it is one in which new innovations, solutions, and ways of working are continually being developed. From hybrid infrastructure and GPUs, to multi-CDN and advancements in network technology, we are continually looking for new ways to not simply meet the needs of the market, but also to look forward, anticipate customer needs, and connect them with the right technology.

How would you judge your participation at SiGMA 2017?

SiGMA 2017 was much bigger than the past years. Having a booth this year was an important step for us to continue to develop our presence in the iGaming industry.

We already have over 40 iGaming customers, so we know the field well, and have a deep understanding of the hosting and security solutions that best fit the industry.

We have a deep understanding of the hosting and security solutions that best fit the industry

The meetings and conversations we’ve had with people across the industry during our time at SiGMA have been quite interesting and given us the opportunity to gain further insight into where iGaming is going, and the kind of solutions that we as company should be focusing on.

In what ways did you reach out to SiGMA 2017 attendees?

As soon as we confirmed our presence at SiGMA, we started scheduling our campaigns via social media, direct invitations by account managers and Linkedin inmails. We also published articles in various iGaming magazines and the SiGMA channels.

We also had interviews with Calvin Ayre and Sigma for their online channels. On Thursday we organised networking drinks at the Thirsty Barber with our partner Gaming in Holland, which was welcomed with great enthusiasm.

We hope that a new tradition was born.
