The annual rate of inflation as measured by the Retail Price Index in October was registered at 1.32% cent, up from 1.05 per cent in September, the National Statistics Office said.

The NSO said the 12-month moving average rate for October increased to 1.3%, from 1.22% the previous month.

The largest upward impact on annual inflation was mainly due to higher prices of fruit.

The largest downward impact was attributed to lower prices of garments.
