Many truck drivers are notoriously known for ignoring the law and driving on the outer lane. But one driver engaged in a potentially fatal manoeuvre on a Mosta road on Wednesday, as this dashcam footage shows.

The truck is seen overtaking a number of cars on a long stretch in Triq il-Fortizza tal-Mosta in the area known as Santa Margherita, parts of which are blind corners.

"Please upload this video to your site so we can expose this person before we hear about the death of an innocent person who may come face-to-face with this lunatic the next time he pretends his truck is the size of a bicycle," the reader said.

Times of Malta has forwarded the number plate of the truck in question to the police.
